Last week, I was excited to be sworn into the 119th United States Congress to represent our wonderful community. From Fort Collins to Granby, Steamboat Springs to Longmont, and everywhere in between, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the people of our great state — and as Assistant Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, I’ll continue working to champion our values and priorities, each and everyday. While the road ahead may be bumpy—at times—our focus and commitment remain the same as the day I first took my oath of office back in January of  2019: to seek common ground for the common good. With that being said, please stay tuned for my upcoming 118th Congress recap, where we’ll highlight our key legislative wins, constituent services successes, and the historic investments we’ve secured over the course of the past two years!

Last week,

I was excited to be sworn into the 119th United States Congress to represent our wonderful community.

MARKING 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE MARSHALL FIRE

Marshall Fire

During the holiday season, I was grateful to join our Louisville community for the annual Marshall Fire Solidarity Breakfast and to thank our first responders for their incredible service to our state.

MAGNUS WHITE CYCLIST SAFETY ACT

In 2023, U.S. National Cycling Team Member and rising star Magnus White tragically lost his life while biking in our community. Last month, in collaboration with his incredible parents, Jill and Michael White of Boulder, I introduced the Magnus White Cyclist Safety Act in honor of their son. This legislation would implement common-sense solutions that would prevent tragedies and ultimately save lives on the road.

I continue to be deeply inspired by Jill and Michael's courage and advocacy, turning their pain into purpose and honoring Magnus's memory. And in the 119th Congress, I will continue to work with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle to help make our roads safer for everyone.
